In both business and life, things don’t always go as planned. This has definitely been the case with inventing and bringing to market Wrapperoo T-Shirt Hair Towel & Styling Cape. From manufacturers going out of business to dropping a shipping crate and breaking my foot, I’ve had to pivot quickly and come up with unique ways to run my business.
Here are a few tips for when life and business don’t go as planned:
- Limit your panic. 15 minutes…that’s all you get to run around like a chicken with your head cut off freaking out. Set a timer and let ALL that negative energy out (preferably in private). After that you need to wipe away the tears, suck up the fear and get to work on figuring out a solution.
- Time spent up front is time saved in the end. Even though you want to take action ASAP, sometimes it’s better to take a step back and come up with a solid strategy. An extreme sense of urgency can cause more problems than it solves.
- Reach out to you friends and family. Your loved ones are truly there to support you, however, they can’t help if they don’t know what you need. Don’t be afraid, or ashamed, to ask for help.
